In 1984, after graduating Bunka Fashion College, fashion designer Junya Watanabe joined Comme des Garçons C0.,LTD. He participated in the Paris Collection in 1993. Junya was highly recognized with his opulent creativity such as using fabric with spiral steel wires to mold the body; using aluminum pipes and fabric for clothing; expanding skirts using honeycombed structures. He also became exemplary by using a secret cutting technique on his denim collection thus creating anticipation of a new era of denim fashion. In the recent years, his designs broke down existing components and reconstructed trench coats and downs into an elegant element.
