YAMAGATA KOUBOU prides itself in producing authentic Kendama made by skilled Japanese artisan and their professional craftsmanship. Our kendama are used in the official competitions. In order for the players to perform a variety of thchniques at these competitions, we maintain a high standard for the quality and precision of every kendama we produce.

We sell Japan Kendama Associaton officailly certified Competetion Type Kendama “Ozora”in our manufacturers store. Official Kendama “Ozora” are also sold by the Japan Kendama Association.

What is Official Kendama?
Kendama that are officially certified by the Japan Kendama Association are “Official Kendama”. Officially certified Kendama have various grades and are eligible for use at all competitions in Japan. Yamagata Koubou is the designated manufacturer selected by the Japan Kendama Association.
