ECO EDO Nihonbashi Art Aquarium 2015 – A World of Art Featuring Beautiful Goldfish and Lights

The Art Aquarium is coming again to Nihonbashi this year, marking its fifth year of being held.
Images and lights projected on the aquariums of various designs with goldfish fluttering in the water and music and scents also joining in give this event an Edo era feel that is fused with modern technology.

At nighttime, the venue is transformed into a “Night Aquarium” where visitors may enjoy the visual delights with a drink in hand. Live shows by artists and DJ performances will also be held as well as such collaborative events as the “Oiran Night” featuring Rantaro Kojyo elegantly dancing as a beautiful Onnagata (male dancer impersonating a woman in such traditional Japanese theatre as Kabuki and Taishu Engeki). It’s surely going to be the kind of night you’d like to be part of.
