We have found something unique things in the atelier at Tokyo.
It’s accessory which is using Japanese traditional ornament . Mainly, they are using one called “MIZUHIKI”.
“MIZUHIKI” is a kind of ornament or ribbon which is used on handsel, mainly. Please refer the right photo. One of “MISUHIKI” is something on the envelope.
There are many different “MIZUHIKI”. And we chose them depending on each case .Sometimes, they are used as hair accessory.
The following is one of the accessory which has the image of “MIZUHIKI”. The image is used for the outer decoration. You can find the original motif on the lower right in the left photo.
And the central decorative print is used the print from “KIMONO” such as the upper left in the left photo.
There are a lot of variation in KIMONO, so this kind of accessories are also able to have a lot of variation!
As the left photo, it can be the pin for lapel, and also the cuff button as the following photo.
Or if you request to have the pierce, it’s possible to make it!
The introduced accessories are produced by the organization called “Stylish Japan”.
They wanted to arrange Japanese culture which mixed with the world culture and keep trying to express new modern Japanese culture!
So, always looking for something new style. For example, the bag with the traditional print and the scarf with the traditional way of dying.
And now they are thinking to make the clutch bag with the traditional print for women.
