The Starbucks rooftop terrace at Tokyu Plaza Omotesando Harajuku is a nice place to spend an evening, whether enjoying a book in one of the seats in the roof garden or catching up on work out in the cool refreshing breeze.

It also offers a lovely view of the city and the sunset.

I love Starbucks so much I even used to work at a Starbucks store. Their limited edition drinks are another reason I keep coming back.

Café d’Art is a café at Hara Museum.
Probably the only museum in the city where you would go for a cup of coffee instead of to look at art works.

Surrounded by verdant green and under a clear blue sky, a perfect place to wile away the afternoon on a weekday.

If you happen to be in Shibuya in the evening, consider stopping by at Legato.
You’ll be treated with a magnificent view of Mt. Fuji, basking in the glow of sunset.
The view is particularly stunning in autumn.

Excellent food, friendly staff.
A perfect place to sit back and unwind.

Whenever I have spare time, I would go to one of my favorite book cafés and lose myself in a book.
One café I would definitely love to go to when I get a chance is momo café in Hokkaido. It’s like a place out of a fairy tale, where squirrels and foxes come and frolic.

A place I love to go in autumn is a teahouse in a Japanese garden. If you are looking for a place to enjoy the autumn leaves with a cup of green tea and Japanese confectionery, this is the perfect place.
If you are in Tokyo, Rikugien is one such place. There are light-up events held in the evening during the cherry-blossom and autumn seasons, so it’s definitely a great idea to stop by after work!
